The City of Marrakech in Morocco
Marrakesh is the largest Moroccan city in terms of population and it is located in the center of the kingdom. The population of Marrakech was estimated to be around 900 thousand inhabitants in 2012. There are no historical records, in fact, that explains the name of the city of Marrakesh.
